The Mitsubishi Pajero has been around since 1982, and has always been one of the best-sellers of Mitsubishi Motors. Nowadays, the Mitsubishi Pajero 2019 still has the appeal in its powerful appearance and swift, comfortable driving experience.
Available for the Philippines market is the Mitsubishi Pajero 2019 GLS 3.2 variant. There are six colors for you to choose from: Graphite, Champagne, Ironbark, White Solid, Pitch Black and Cool Silver.
The 2019 version of the Pajero hasn’t changed much ever since the facelift of the 2014 version. Mitsubishi still made some adjustments to give the Mitsubishi Pajero 2019 a more elegant and bolder look.
The bumper on the front now has an integrated chrome grille and LED lamps which can be used for daytime running. Both the fog lights and headlights are sleek and modern. Overall, the entire front exudes a sporty aura.
The macho design of this car model is more prominent on the sides and the rear. The wheel arches are clearly visible from the sides, as well as a tough-looking pair of roof rails.
The rear of the 2019 Pajero has perhaps the most adjustments, with a newly designed 5th door and spare tire carrier. These changes add more appeal to the already muscular, yet elegant, styling of the SUV.
Similar to the exterior, Mitsubishi gave the interior some updates to fit with the more elegant design.
Now, the insides of this SUV doesn’t have only one color anymore, but has silver-colored, carbon fiber trim. The seats are covered in leather, giving the interior a luxurious feel.
The Philippines-spec Mitsubishi Pajero is still pretty spacious in most of the seats, save for the third-row, as it’s a bench-type seat. In most cases, it can only accommodate two people.
There is also not much space available for cargo if all the seats are deployed, except if you fold down both the second and third-row seats, then you have a massive room for cargo, up to 1,789 liters.
Overall, the interior looks comfortable, ergonomic and in-style.
The engine of the Pajero is still the same as the previous models: a 3.2-liter, type 4M41 inline-4 diesel. It’s a strong engine, offering up to 189 horsepower and 441Nm of torque.
This SUV uses a INVECS-II 5-Speed automatic to transmit power from the engine to the rear. The engine is completed with Sportronic mode and SuperSelect 4WD.

The 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero has all the standard features of an SUV: six speakers, automatic climate control, cruise control, steering wheel with buttons integrated for multi-functioning, and a driver seat that can be adjusted in 8 ways.
On the front, the dashboard comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen. The touch screen includes basic connections for USB, AUX, GPS, and Bluetooth. However, it doesn’t have in-car apps like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
As for the safety features, the Pajero includes traction control, ABS, ISOFIX tethers, and stability control. There are airbags available for the driver seat, the front seat, the sides, the curtains and knee position.
