Toyota Racing Development (TRD), Toyota’s racing division, has rolled out the Solar Octane Collection in partnership with Original Grain.
Toyota released the Solar Octane Collection
The timepiece collection is inspired by the brand’s TRD Pro series of trucks including the Toyota Sequoia and Tundra. Both these models are underpinned by the same full-size pickup platform, which we don’t have in the Philippines. But at least you can get into the series through the TRD-themed collection.
“The Solar Octane Collection brings together a level of detail and craftsmanship that TRD fans will appreciate, and we know that they will be happy with the way Original Grain transformed our iconic TRD Pro series of trucks into this collection,” said Lisa Materazzo, Group Vice President of Toyota Division Marketing at Toyota Motor North America.

The Solar Octane Collection consists of three watches, namely the TRD Pro Rugged Automatic 45mm, the TRD Sport Barrel Design 46mm, and the TRD Off-Road Rugged Design 45mm. Each comes with Tundra design cues including camo details and a solar movement that pays homage to the brand’s i-Force Max hybrid motor.
Built with durable and rugged materials, the TRD Pro Solar Octane is said to be the perfect Father’s Day gift. Meanwhile, the TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro are limited to 250 pieces, with the latter featuring more upscale materials such as an ultra-light aluminum frame, and an automatic movement with a skeleton dial and case back.
