Suzuki has revealed its 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon lineup, which includes the pint-sized off-roader Super Carry Mountain Trail concept. It has a rugged and aggressive exterior design making it an eye-catching off-road machine.
Suzuki Super Carry Mountain Trail concept
The said concept transforms the Suzuki Super Carry commercial vehicle into an off-roader. The Japanese automaker said the Super Carry Mountain Trail concept is a vehicle that “combines strength and design,” making it capable of tackling tough terrain. Suzuki added that the pint-sized off-road concept is intended for individuals to “enjoy the mountains.”
Suzuki has yet to announce the official modifications fitted on the Super Carry Mountain Trail concept. But from the looks of it, the off-roader concept is indeed capable of driving through rough terrain. Based on the photo released by Suzuki, the Super Carry Mountain Trail comes with a skid plate as well as a black grille, and an LED light bar on top.
The concept’s body is also equipped with black metal tubes, which resemble a roll cage that could most likely be meant to give added protection when navigating through the boondocks. The black metal tubes also allow the Super Carry Mountain Trail concept to have a roof rack. Suzuki did not reveal much of the concept’s rear but a spare tire can be seen.
Standard Suzuki Super Carry
Details about the concept’s powertrain are also not yet revealed by Suzuki. But the standard Super Carry in Japan is powered by a 658cc gasoline engine that delivers 49 horsepower and 59 Nm of torque. The engine can be mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with a four-wheel-drive option in Japan.
Suzuki Spacia Papa Boku Kitchen concept
Aside from the Super Carry Mountain Trail concept, Suzuki is also bringing the Spacia Papa Boku Kitchen concept to the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon. Suzuki said that this concept comes with a kitchen space at the rear that allows parents and children to enjoy the outdoors and cook together.
Suzuki Swift Cool Yellow Rev
Joining Suzuki’s Tokyo Auto Salon lineup is the Swift Cool Yellow Rev. It’s a concept car that features a matte finish of the new, which also comes with a body decal that makes it unmistakably the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift.
The 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon will be happening from January 12 to 14 at the Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture).
