The Lifestyle Elite Program entitles new SsangYong owners who made a purchase from May 1, 2021 to trade up their current SsangYong vehicle for a brand new one any time within the next five years. With this program, acquiring a brand new SsangYong vehicle should be a worry-free ownership experience.

“SsangYong Berjaya Motor Philippines, continues to develop ways to make vehicle ownership a rewarding and enjoyable experience for our customers,” said SsangYong Philippines President Japheth Castillo.

Those who will avail of the brand’s new program will receive a SsangYong Lifestyle Elite membership card as proof of their eligibility to the trade-up plan. Card holders will get various benefits such as a 3-year free periodic maintenance schedule (PMS), 5-year general warranty, a 20-percent discount on Genuine SsangYong car parts, and a 20-percent discount on Mobile Service.

SsangYong Philippines is a brand best known for its SUV lineup. These include the entry-level Tivoli subcompact crossover SUV, Korando compact crossover SUV, and the Rexton 7-seater midsize SUV. The brand is also offering the Musso and Musso Grand which are its entry to the local midsize pickup truck segment.

In addition, the Lifestyle Elite Program also includes a CYKEL e-bike which can be availed of for every successful vehicle purchase. The e-bike will give members of the SsangYong Lifestyle Elite an alternative means of transportation, as well as provide health benefits.

“We believe customer-centric programs such as our SsangYong Lifestyle Elite can ultimately benefit our customers by completing their ownership journey as their cars transition from brand new to quality-assured vehicles in the future,” Castillo added.

SsangYong Korando

The all-new Korando compact SUV from SsangYong now incorporates the brand's distinctive angular styling that was initially seen on the Tivoli, the smaller subcompact vehicle. It gives the car a more premium and sharper appearance. The vehicle features a city-oriented design with a mix of aggressive body lines. SsangYong Korando also comes with a complete set of LEDs for headlights, fog lamps, taillights, and daytime running lights. The front fascia of the Korando sports the same design language as the Tivoli; however, the vehicle has a slightly different lower bumper. The rear part of the car is equally head-turning as its front. The cabin of the all-new Korando features a dashboard with a horizontal layout and is inspired by European designs. The higher trims come with an all-digital instrument cluster. SsangYong Philippines offers the Korando with two engine options. The base unit is a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine that pumps up 161 horsepower and 280 Newton-meter of torque. The second option is the 1.6L turbodiesel motor that produces 134 hp and 324 Nm of torque. Both powerplants are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is a standard in the SsangYong Korando. SsangYong Korando is available in four colors: Platinum Grey, Dandy Blue, Grand White, and Cherry Red.
