Recently, Dr Guido Haak – Skoda’s Head of Product Management has disclosed some pieces of information about the upcoming Skoda's fleet of all-electric vehicles.

Speaking of the powertrain, specific engines haven’t been mentioned yet but the EVs fleet would produce an output ranging from 140 hp to 300 hp. Haak also claimed that the most powerful models could do the 0-100 kmph within less than 6.0 seconds before topping out 180 kmph. Moreover, both rear and four-wheel drive systems are suggested.

What’s more is that the internal combustion engine of all Skoda’s EVs will meet EU emissions targets.
Concerning the range goals, the new EVs are expected to reach a driving range of 400-600 km in the real conditions, inclusive of the support for fast-charging.

As scheduled, the wraps will come off Skoda’s first electric vehicles at the forthcoming 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12. And Skoda is keeping alive the hope of producing 5 EVs by 2025, one of which is set to debut in 2020.
