Celebrating sales milestones will always be special as it reflects the efforts of the brands to meet demands in the automotive market. Over at MG Philippines, the company is proud to announce that it has entered the third quarter of this year with its 20,888 unit sales milestone.

It was in October 2018 when The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) spearheaded the reintroduction of the Morris Garages (MG) brand in the country. Fast forward to July 2021, MG Philippines celebrated its 10,000 units milestone. This shows a significant sales improvement as the number of units sold doubled in little over a year.
“TCCCI’s vision for MG Philippines is to provide the Filipino motoring public with the best value proposition when deciding on their purchase of a vehicle, and to allow clients to make a decision that is rational and fulfilling,” said MG Philippines President and CEO Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla.
MG Philippines celebrates its 20,888 unit milestone
Part of the 20,888 unit milestone is MG Philippines’ 6-model lineup, which consists of the MG 5, MG 6, ZS, ZS-T, RX5, and HS. The MG 5 and MG 6 are the British-bred brand’s sedan models. Meanwhile, the MG ZS, ZS-T, RX5, and HS are the brand’s entry into the growing crossover market, with the ZS as one of its best-sellers.
Aside from the model lineup, MG Philippines is also busy reaching out to more customers nationwide by growing its dealership roster. It had a 42-strong nationwide dealership network when the sales milestone was achieved. And just recently, the company inaugurated its 43rd dealership with the MG Libis in Quezon City.
“TCCCI and MG Philippines share this achievement with our established 42-strong nationwide dealership network partners, our principals at SAIC Motor, Inc., bank partners, our colleagues in the media, and our growing, loyal, and happy MG clients,” added Atty. Arcilla.
