Mercedes-Benz Philippines has added a new variant to its compact crossover SUV model with the GLB 200 Progressive Line.
Mercedes-Benz GLB 200 Progressive Line
The new Mercedes-Benz GLB 200 Progressive Line joins the AMG Line variant in the range that Filipino consumers can choose from. While the AMG Line leans towards a sportier appeal, the new GLB 200 Progressive Line exudes a more luxurious ambiance which expands the model’s versatility.
Exclusive in the new variant is faux under guards at the front and rear, finished in high-gloss chrome. It is also designed with two single louvers on the grille as opposed to just one in the other variant. Other exterior features include LED high-performance headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and 19-inch 10-spoke light-alloy wheels.
Interior of the new Progressive Line
Moving to the interior, the new Mercedes-Benz GLB is capable of providing a comfortable ride with its spacious cabin and long wheelbase. A 10.25-inch MBUX infotainment screen is housed on the center console which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Going along with the luxury the model offers is a wide array of safety features to keep you and your family safe on the go. These include seven airbags, Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist with 12 ultrasonic sensors, cruise control, and ISOFIX tethers.
It comes with the EASY-PACK tailgate
No changes were made under the hood. This means that the new variant is still equipped with the same 1.3-liter inline-4 gasoline engine good for 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. As standard, the engine is paired with a 7G dual-clutch transmission (7-speed DCT).
Mercedes-Benz Philippines is offering the new GLB 200 Progressive Line with a starting price of Php 3,990,000. It is available for viewing in all of the company’s dealerships in Greenhills, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Alabang, and Cebu. If you prefer the sportier trim, you can opt for the GLB 200 AMG Line for Php 4,190,000.
