The Mercedes-Benz V-Class that’s officially sold in the Philippines by Auto Nation Group, Inc., has gotten a significant improvement when it comes to providing its occupants a luxurious ride.
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class
This comes in the form of the new variant called the V 220 d Long with Luxury Seats, which as the name suggests, is equipped with two plush captain’s seats on its second row. The said captain’s seats are clad in leather and provide more space and comfort than the regular V-class' seats.
These seats can also slide forward and backward with a simple push of a button. Apart from that, the aforementioned captain’s seats also have six-way power adjustments, and the seat-back can be reclined up to sixty degrees. These also come with an adjustable leg rest.

Besides the second-row captain’s seats, this particular variant of the V-Class also gets a spacious third row, as well as a folding table. The said table is accessible to both the second and third row, plus it can be neatly tucked in when not in use. Last but not the least is a storage compartment located behind the second row, which itself also features a parcel shelf to help organize your cargo. In total, the V 220 d Long with Luxury Seats can carry up to six occupants including the driver.
For those unaware, the Mercedes V-Class is a luxury five-door MPV, which uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. For all the Philippine-spec variants, this vehicle is powered by a turbocharged 2.1-liter inline-4 diesel engine that’s capable of delivering up to 163 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The said engine is then paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
There's no question about legroom when it comes to this model
