Jetour Auto Philippines has concluded an exclusive test drive activity that highlighted the capabilities and qualities of the Dashing compact crossover. The said drive was participated by the brand’s dealer partners and it allowed them to familiarize themselves with the crossover model.
Jetour Dashing
During the drive, dealer partners from Jetour Auto Alabang, Jetour Auto Cubao, Jetour Auto EDSA Centris, Jetour Auto Fairview, Jetour Auto Isabela, and Jetour Auto Las Piñas took their Dashing units through 88 kilometers of in-city and countryside driving.
This allowed them to truly soak in the Dashing’s bold and unique-looking exterior design. Of course, they also got the chance to use the vehicle’s interior features. This includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, leather seats and soft-touch points, a sunroof, ambient lighting, and its integrated voice control system.
Also experienced by the dealer partners firsthand is the capability of the Dashing’s 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. At the most, it can generate up to 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque - more than enough for effortless city driving and highway cruising.

As a result, the Jetour dealer partners were impressed with the Dashing crossover.

With its comfortable ride, we could navigate tight traffic and long stretches relax and fresh as we arrived at our destination,” said Jetour Auto EDSA Centris General Manager Terence Hofer.
With regards to the drive itself, Jetour Auto Las Piñas General Manager Buddy Arancon said “It’s one thing to tell a customer what he can already read on the brochure and another to recount our experience with the Jetour Dashing.”

Jetour Dashing Launch
The Jetour Dashing was officially launched in the Philippine market in March 2023. It debuted together with the Jetour X70 and the Ice Cream EV. Pricing for the Dashing’s only available trim is set at Php 1,373,000.
Jetour Dashing Exterior
On the outside, the Dashing sports a modern exterior fitted with automatic LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED taillights. From the side, this crossover then uses a set of 19-inch alloy wheels.
Other exterior equipment present on the Dashing includes rain-sensitive wipers, a rear windshield wiper, a panoramic sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, and hidden door handles.
Jetour Dashing Interior
Inside, the Dashing offers plenty of space for up to five occupants. Its driver then gets plenty of features namely a push-to-start button, a plush front armrest, a push-to-start button, a ventilated electronically adjustable driver’s seat, a leather steering wheel, etc.
The cabin of this vehicle is then kept cool by a dual-zone automatic climate control system. All seats are then wrapped in leather.
Technology & Safety Features
Providing onboard entertainment for this model is a 12.8-inch touchscreen that’s linked to a six-piece speaker system. For connectivity, this headunit gets smartphone linking software, Bluetooth, and USB ports. A smartphone wireless charging pad and a total of five USB charging ports are also present inside the car.
As expected from a modern vehicle, the Dashing gets plenty of standard safety features. Among these are ISOFIX child seat anchors, anti-lock braking, stability control, traction control, hill-descent control, tire pressure monitoring, etc. It then comes standard with six airbags.
Further enhancing safety aboard this model are a number of driver-assistive features. Chief among these are adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lateral collision warning, rear collision warning, a 360-degree view camera, and traffic jam assist, among others.
Jetour Dashing Chassis
The Jetour Dashing uses a MacPherson strut for the front and a multi-link rear suspension. Stopping power is then provided by disc brakes for all four wheels. This car model likewise comes with an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

Powering the Jetour Dashing is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline mill that can generate 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Paired to the engine is a six-speed DCT sending power to its front wheels.
The Jetour Dashing has five different color options for the Philippine market. There’s Black, White, Blue, Grey, and Red.
The 2024 Jetour Dashing is largely on-par against its rivals regarding onboard features and safety technologies. It is also as peppy as some of its rivals, though some specific models are more powerful. Then again, this crossover is one of the most affordable turbocharged models in the market right now, so there’s that.
