Jeepney driver wins brand-new Toyota Raize in Cleanfuel’s raffle promo

xCleanfuel Philippines announced that Juanito Alcasid is the winner of a brand-new Toyota Raize through its Paskong Panalo e-Raffle promo.

A new owner of the Toyota small crossover

Alcasid is a 51-year-old jeepney driver who drives daily from morning until afternoon from Sangadaan to Divisoria (via Abad Santos) route. With the new Toyota Raize, the grand prize winner said that the subcompact crossover can help him and his family in doing business.

According to the promo details, the oil company raffled the model's base 1.2E MT variant. This comes with 16-inch wheels, halogen headlamps, LED front fog lamps, fabric seats, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and four speakers.

Propelling Alcasid’s new vehicle is a 1.2-liter inline-3 naturally-aspirated engine capable of generating 87 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. As mentioned earlier, the variant raffled gets a manual transmission, which has five forward gears.

Cleanfuel looked for the whereabouts of Alcasid

Alcasid was able to acquire the crossover through Cleanfuel Philippines’ persistence to find him. He went to the province in early January thinking that he didn’t win the grand prize as the promo ended in the said month.

But the oil company continued to look for him despite Alcasid having a new address and contact number.

“Nakalaking tulong po ito sa katulad kong Jeepney driver na manalo nang brand-new na kotse. Malaking tulong po ito para sa aking pamilya na magkaroon ng sariling pang hanap-buhay,” said Alcasid.

The other promo winners of the one-year free fuel supply were Gerald Gipan (Calamba, Laguna), Jimmy Roceta (Batangas City), Alan Racoma (Quezon City), Carlo Banca (Pila, Laguna), and Reu Damain (Angono, Rizal).
