The conference will ensure Bosch service personnel are well-equipped to service the huge number of diesel cars in the country. In 2022 alone, the Toyota Fortuner, previous-gen Innova, and Hilux are some of the best-selling models locally – all of which are powered by a diesel powertrain.

“We at Bosch Diesel Powerhouse (DPH), would like to ensure our trusted diesel partners that despite all these electrification and advances in mobility, we will adapt, we will be well-equipped and ready for the future,” said Paulo Duarte, General Manager of Bosch Philippines.

The Bosch DPH offers a one-stop solution for diesel cars, offering parts, diagnostic tests, and services.

The company offers parts for conventional and common rail diesels, such as injectors, pumps, and nozzles. It assures customers that the parts can fulfill the requirement of Euro 4 emission standards and above.

Bosch has also developed the reverse engineering nozzle (RE Nozzles) to provide cost-friendly repair solutions for popular Japanese car models. No specific models were mentioned but the company could be referring to the likes of the Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Toyota Hilux, and Nissan Navara.

Another cost-friendly solution is the Bosch eXchange program, which offers remanufactured common rail injectors and pumps.

This conference should boost the company's diesel product offering

For diagnosing diesel engines, Bosch uses the DCI200 and DCI700, which can be used for passenger and commercial vehicles. The DCI200 can test one common rail diesel mill, while the DCI700 can test four at a time.

“We dedicated 130 years in providing solutions for efficient and effective vehicle repairs. We will be the Last Man Standing of Diesel!” he added.

In addition, Bosch highlighted its authorized workshop program, the Bosch Module Partner (Bosch branded workshop). It is said to be a way to help workshops be recognized as a quality service outlet.
