The “Scandinavian Athlete” Volvo XC60 2018 has officially come in the Philippines with only one variant available.

Strong yet alluring are what we have to say about the XC60 exterior. Not only that, it’s modern and muscular with sharp creases and lines abound. At the front-end, full-LED headlights looks more impressive with Thor’s Hammer daytime running lights. The side profile is dominated by 18-inch alloys wrapped by 235/60 massy tires. Moving rearwards, the SUV is more contemporary with vertical LED taillights; however, it somehow remains the car’s original look.

Featuring the Momentum design, the XC60 comes with new chrome adorned by high-gloss black inserts, silk metal window trim, dual exhaust with chrome sleeves and refined roof rails.

Moving inside, design and space are accentuated. In detail, the dash is outstanding genuine wood and metal inlays and holds a large Sensus display which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.  Fitted with 4-zone climate control system CleanZone, the cabin is always kept fresh as the system will eliminate all harmful pollutants and particles. This trim packs a 2.0L twin turbocharged diesel engine which is capable of generating 190 hp @ 4,250 rpm and a max torque of 400 Nm between 1,750 – 2,500 rpm. Coming paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle can top out at 205 km/h while still doing a commendable 19.6 km/L. Particularly, improving the performance is likewise thanks to Pilot Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Volvo’s single-lane autonomous driving technology and more.

Safety-wise, 6 airbags, City Safety with Steering Support, Park Assist Pilot among other advanced safety features are fully given.
