2025 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLS 1.2 CVT Review: Introduction

Design-wise, the updated look of the 2025 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 remained almost the same. Throughout the generations of this model, its shell has that same silhouette. But it has gotten more sporty and sharper.

Adding to the changes of the new Mirage, the shape of the headlights are now much spicier than before because of the cutaway below that connects to the grille. It is now equipped with LED projector headlights and taillights for both GLS and GLX variants, that give a modern and sporty look to it, and improved visibility during night time.

Another eye-catching component are the wheels. It now has the new two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels design that gives a fresh look.

For the interior, the GLS variant offers a Keyless Operation System (KOS), push start button, a remote key that has a trunk opener, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a display for the reverse camera.

The cabin still looks pretty basic. But despite the small body, it has ample head, shoulder, and leg space that still gives you a comfortable ride.

Beneath the hood, the 2025 Mirage G4 still has the ever-dependable 1.2 liter 3-cylinder MIVEC engine. It has 78 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. You cannot go wrong with its efficiency because of its 21 km/L delivery.

When it comes to safety, Mitsubishi enhanced its game. The Mirage is now equipped with Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Active Stability Control (ASC) for all the variants. This can be a big help for drivers in navigating the inclined roads of Baguio and cruising rainy highways.
