Nissan Philippines has introduced the new Kicks e-Power Sport Edition, a limited model that provides the subcompact crossover sportier aesthetics. The Japanese automaker has brought 150 examples only for the Philippine market.
Nissan Kicks e-Power Sport Edition
The sporty styling is made possible by the addition of four body kits including a front lip, side skirts, a rear faux diffuser, and a rear roof spoiler – all of which are finished in silver. These body kits give an appealing contrast to the exterior bits of the crossover, which are predominately blacked-out.
As a model based on the mid-spec Kicks VE, the exterior of the limited edition is also fitted with full LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, silver roof rails, and a black V-Motion grille. Inside, the cabin is equipped with an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four speakers, and fabric seats.
The Nissan Kicks comes standard with a 1.2-liter inline-three engine paired with a hybrid system, producing a combined output of 134 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. As a series hybrid vehicle, the front wheels are propelled by the electric motor only, with the combustion engine serving as a generator for the lithium-ion battery only.
"Today, we are thrilled to introduce the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport to the Philippines, a testament to our commitment to delivering innovation and excitement to our valued customers,” said Nissan Philippines President Juan Manuel Hoyos.
“This limited edition model represents the fusion of exclusivity, sportiness, and advanced technology that defines Nissan's vision for the future of mobility in the country,” added Hoyos.
