Exclusively designed for city driving, Mini says that its new green car will feature “the iconic design, city-dwelling heritage, and customary go-kart feeling.” Let’s have a sneak preview of Mini’s all-electric vehicle before Frankfurt debut.
The Mini Electric Concept is exclusively designed for city driving
The British carmaker has never made its fans disappointed in terms of styling design. Every three-door Mini is always distinct and recognizable. Sharing the silver color paint with the Mini E, the new Electric Concept looks more stunning with yellow accents. If the closed-off grille and synthetic air intakes dominates the front fascia, the rear car gets a revised rear clip. Certainly, the exhaust doesn’t exist in this EV. Most notably, you will definitely not take your eyes off of the eye-catching British tail light treatment with the Union Flag.

On the side, the EV’s chunky look is emphasized by fiberglass bolt-on side panels. Besides, we’re extremely impressed by a unique set of 19-inch 4-spoke wheels which are integrated with 3D-printed aerodynamic inlays.

Being a mini EV, it comes as no surprise if the Electric’s engine would not be too cool. However, it’s just a divination. A very likely debut date and venue would be at the approaching 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show this September. So stay tuned for a few weeks when further details on performance and other specs are fully revealed.
