The first MG dealership under SAIC Motor Philippines is now officially open. MG Taguig, operated by the Autohub Group, is seen to further strengthen the car brand’s presence in the country, specifically to the individuals residing in Taguig City.
MG Taguig is now officially open
The new MG Taguig dealership features a modern and spacious showroom that can feature a four-car display. The said MG dealership also comes with a service workshop that has four dedicated work bays, which is said to ensure top-notch maintenance and repair service to its clients.
Moreover, potential clients and future customers will be assisted by MG Taguig’s well-trained Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, and Technicians who are dedicated to providing quality and reliable service during their visits.
SAIC Motor Philippines President Felix Jiang graced the opening ceremony of MG Taguig. He expressed his enthusiasm for the establishment of said MG dealership.
"The establishment of MG Taguig is a testament to the commitment and vision of Autohub Group in bringing world-class automotive experiences to the people of Taguig City. By introducing MG to the heart of Taguig, Autohub is not only providing a new destination for potential car buyers but also contributing to the growth and development of commerce and business in the city," Jiang said.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and Brgy. Captain of Brgy. Fort Bonifacio Jorge Bocabo were also present during the dealership’s opening ceremony.

As a review, SAIC Motor Philippines is the new importer and distributor of MG vehicles in the country. It has replaced The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), a company that distributes Chevrolet vehicles in the local market.
Among the MG cars that SAIC previewed last July 2023 are the following: MG 4, MG Marvel R, and MG ZS EV. Then a few months later, the Chinese car brand officially launched the MG 4 and the MG Marvel R, both of which are electric vehicles (EV).

The MG 4 comes with a starting price of Php 1,468,888, which undercuts several of its rivals in the EV segment. On the other hand, the Marvel R is sold at a retail price of Php 2,588,888.
MG Taguig is located at 1650 Cayetano Avenue, Ususan, 1632 Taguig City. It is open from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

MG Philippines currently has four models for the local market. This includes the MG ZS subcompact crossover, the MG 6 compact car, the RX5 compact crossover, and the MG5 subcompact sedan. The most affordable model in the MG Philippines lineup is the MG 5 with a starting price of Php 658,888.
