Daymak C5 Blast Ultimate – The world’s fastest go-kart

The C5 go-kart even exceeds the speed of the “King” Bugatti Veyron.

Canada-based go-kart maker Daymark has recently revealed some information about its unique C5 Blast Ultimate go-kart which can rocket from 0 to 96 km/h within less than 1.5 seconds.

With the neck-snapping acceleration, the C5 Blast is considered as “the fastest go-kart on the planet” and challenges the King Bugatti Veyron as well as the Tesla P100D. Particularly, this go-kart is entirely powered by 100% clean energy.

According to car news from Daymark, this all-electric go-kart uses twelve Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) motors to reduce its weight by half. Thus, the C5 only weighs 168kg. Besides, the liquid cooled 10kW brushless DC motor, which is fed by 2400 Watt-hour Lithium Panasonic Cells also furthers the go-kart’s lightning speed.

The C5 Blast Ultimate will be available in two versions, in which the faster and more expensive one will be given the extra twelve EDF motors. Without this extra, the cheaper version is still fast but it will do the 0-100 km/h sprint in a tamer 3.9 seconds.

Lastly, Aldo Baiocchi, Head of Daymak said in a statement that “our technology is just at the early stage. We plan to roll out other cool products that will take us to a completely different dimension.” So that means there is faster go-kart coming?
