The Audi A4 is a line of compact four-door saloons and five-door estates enjoyed in many parts of the world due to its versatility and reliable performance. Outside, it flaunts a striking exterior complete with innovative features. Each detail has been carefully updated to meet the demands of the modern world. Inside, it is furnished with contemporary amenities to ensure a pleasant riding experience. Locally, Audi Philippines offers only one Audi A4 variant. It comes in metallic shades of Scuba Blue, Moonlight Blue, Daytona Grey, Manhattan Grey, Tango Red, Argus Brown, Floret Silver, and Glacier White.

Audi A4 Launch

The first generation front-wheel-drive Audi 4 was launched in 1994 and fitted with a longitudinal engine. A year later, the German automotive company made it available in the US and other parts of the world.

The second generation was unveiled in 2000 and built on the Volkswagen Group B6 (PL46) platform. In 2004, Audi launched a refreshed version of this model produced using a new platform, a modern exterior with a minor change in its interior.

Its fourth generation was revealed in the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show flaunting a lengthened body and a more powerful engine. In 2015, its current generation was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show. 

Locally, PGA Cars Inc., the official distributor of Audi in our country, released a revamped version in 2019 with a P1 million discount.

Audi A4 Exterior

The Audi A4 flaunts a lengthened body filled with notable features such as the lengthened front hood, grille with horizontal slats,  efficient Audi Matrix LED headlights with cleaning system and high beam assist, LED rear lights with dynamic indicators, exhaust tailpipes, roof edge spoiler, and black or anodised roof rail depending on the variant.

Supporting this contemporary executive vehicle is a set of 17-inch, 18-inch, and 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels depending on the variant.

Audi A4 Interior

Though belonging to the compact category, the Audi 4 offers a roomy cabin filled with highlights such as a three-spoke steering wheel with multi-function features, driver information system, Audi virtual cockpit, comfortable seats covered in fabric or Alcantara and Milano leather, panoramic glass sunroof, and three-zone deluxe air conditioning system. 

In terms of storage, it offers a rail system with a load-securing kit at the top and a variable folding luggage compartment.

Technology & Safety Features

Radio and navigation needs are provided by MMI packages. The vehicle’s sound system comes with eight loudspeakers, an Audi sound system, or a Bang & Olufsen 3d sound system depending on the variant. 

Safety is assured as it is built with a generous number of airbags, anti-slip regulation, electronic differential lock, ISOFIX child seat mounts, childproof locks, and more.

Platform & Chassis

The Audi 4 is offered as a four-door saloon or a five-door station wagon. It is built using the Volkswagen Group MLB Platform and is fitted with an adaptive suspension at the front and rear.

Engine & Platform

All variants are affixed with a four-cylinder, inline turbocharged engine except for the Audi A4 3.0 fitted with a V6 turbocharged diesel engine and matched with an eight-speed Tiptronic. It is guaranteed to release 268 horsepower with 600 Newton meters. 

The Audi A4 1.4 TFSI (148 horsepower with 250 Newton-meters), the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI and the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro (249 horsepower with 370 Newton-meters), the Audi A4 2.0 TDI (188 horsepower with 400 Newton-meters), are paired with a seven-speed S Tronic transmission.

On the other hand, The other variant Audi A4 2.0 TDI (148 horsepower with 320 Newton meters) and the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Ultra (188 horsepower with 320 Newton meters)  is available in a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S Tronic transmission.
