The Honda Brio, as we’ve said, is currently Honda Philippines’ most affordable and smallest vehicle in its lineup. Measuring at around 3800 mm long, 1485 mm high, and 1680 mm wide, the said car is indeed a compact and some say…cute little vehicle. But don’t let that size fool you as the Brio’s engine in some variants actually has VTEC and with that 89 horsepower rating and 110 Nm of torque, the small Brio can still zip around town with no issues at all due to its relatively lightweight.
Inside, the Brio can actually fit five people, all of which will have decent headroom and legroom. While earlier models might not have a touchscreen, the Brio is equipped with a 2-DIN audio system, USB and AUX ports, Bluetooth connectivity and a very decent set of speakers. Also, the AC is quite strong.
Passengers of the Honda Brio are kept safe with dual front airbags, child safety locks and recent models have ABS and EBD.
Currently, the Honda Brio competes against the likes of the Suzuki Swift, the ever-popular Toyota Wigo, the Mitsubishi Mirage and the Kia Picanto which has a similar price.
Here in the Philippines, the new Honda Brio comes in these variants;
