Kaicene CX70 2024 Price Philippines & Official Promos

The Kaicene CX70 is a seven-seater crossover. For the Philippine market, this model only has one variant, and it is priced at Php 879,000. 

Under the hood, the Kaicene CX70 uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine that can produce up to 148 horsepower and 230 Nm. Power is delivered to its rear wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox. 

Size-wise, the Kaicene CX70 is 4,705mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,775mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,780mm. 

Locally, the CX70 competes against the likes of the Mitsubishi Xpander/Xpander Cross, Toyota Rush, Honda BR-V, Suzuki XL7/Ertiga, and the Toyota Avanza, among others.

Kaicene CX70 Launch

The Kaicene CX70 seven-seater crossover was launched locally in December 2021. Its sole variant is priced at Php 879,000. 

Kaicene CX70 Exterior

Style-wise, its front end is reminiscent of a more expensive, and much larger SUV. It gets halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, roof rails, and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. 

Its rear end also comes with LED taillights, rear fog lamps, and a rear-mounted faux skid plate. 

Kaicene CX70 Interior

The CX70 can accommodate up to seven occupants. It also has thermoplastic polyurethane seats, a sunroof, as well as a multi-function steering wheel. The dash then gets plenty of soft-touch surfaces and an armrest. 

For cargo, the space inside the CX70 can be expanded with the third row’s 50:50 split-fold function and the second row’s 60:40 split-fold function. At maximum, this crossover can carry up to 3,810 liters of cargo. 

Technology & Safety Features

To entertain its occupants, the CX70 is kitted out with an eight-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity. 

Safety is then handled by anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, stability control, traction control, dual front airbags, and hill hold control. Also assisting the driver is a blind-spot camera mounted on the passenger side mirror, a reverse camera, and parking sensors.

The Kaicene CX70 is a rear-wheel-drive midsize crossover. For suspensions, it uses a MacPherson strut for the front and a torsion beam axle for the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes for all four wheels. 

The Philippine-spec Kaicene CX70 uses an inline-4, DOHC, turbocharged gasoline engine, which can produce up to 148 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The said tranny also has a manual mode. 

In the Philippines, the Kaicene CX70 is available in four colors. These are Black, Silver, Red, and White. 

For the price, the Kaicene CX70 offers a lot in comparison to its segment rivals. For starters, its turbocharged engine is one of the most powerful in the seven-seater, gasoline-powered, crossover segment. It also has a decent set of interior amenities, and its cargo space is more than a match against its competitors. Then again, there’s only one variant for this model in the local market.
