The E-Pace looks strikingly similar to the flagship F-Type coupe from the style of the honeycomb mesh grille flanked with LED headlamps, and the shape of the air intakes on the front bumper. Its sloping roofline flows seamlessly to the muscular rear bumper with narrow LED taillights. The compact crossover takes a more confident and athletic stance with its muscular haunches and wide tailgate that is not only aesthetically pleasing but functional as well, providing easy access to the cargo trunk. Completing the look are daytime running lights and 18-inch alloys that come as standard.

Extending to the Jaguar E-Pace’s interior is the British brand’s signature premium trims and high-quality materials. Every component is meticulously designed to deliver a refined, tactile experience. The driver-centric cabin features an ergonomic layout, clad in soft-touch materials, polished metal trim, and gloss black accents giving a refined, luxurious ambiance. Seats are upholstered in fine leather with animal print seat labels.

The low-slung driver’s seat provides a sporty touch, complemented by the flat-bottomed steering wheel that is similar to the F-Type coupe. It also comes with electric adjustability for added convenience. Meanwhile, the rear seats can be folded 60/40 to further expand the cargo space.

Crowning the dashboard of the Jaguar E-Pace is a 10-inch TouchPro infotainment system that comes with navigation capabilities and Bluetooth connectivity. Audio comes out of a 6-speaker system. The infotainment package can be activated through voice control to give the driver access to safety and entertainment features. Home screens can be customized with over 60 shortcuts and widgets pre-installed. In addition to the fully-digital dashboard are a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a head up display for the driver’s convenience.

In terms of safety, the premium crossover is equipped with Keyless entry, Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Distribution, Vehicle Stability Control System, Crash Sensor, Tire Pressure Monitor Front and rear parking sensors, reverse cameras with Traffic Detection, Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Hill Hold Assist that come as standard.

Additionally, Jaguar’s innovative technology called Active Driveline and Adaptive Dynamics ensure that the E-Pace delivers quality performance. The Active Driveline system augments traction and enhances rear-wheel control for better responsiveness on the road.

The 5-door, 5-seater compact crossover rides on the same platform as the Range Rover Evoque. Suspension comes in the form of Independent, MacPherson Strut in front and Independent, Multi-Link at the rear. Stopping power comes from front Vented Discs and rear Discs.

There are two engine options for the locally available variants of the Jaguar E-Pace.  Under the hood of the E-PACE D150 R-Dynamic is a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder 150PS Turbocharged Front Wheel Drive Diesel Engine that produces 148 hp of power and 380 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the E-PACE D150 AWD R-Dynamic Sport variant is powered by a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder 300PS All-Wheel Drive Turbocharged Gasoline Engine, spewing out 246 hp of power and 365 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
