Designed with aerodynamics and engineered with Jaguar’s in-house technology, the luxury sedan is set to take executive vehicle driving to a new level. Locally offered are two variants which are the Prestige and R-Sport. The models have been in the market for over a decade, showing Jaguar’s timeless elegance and future-proof innovation. Powering the XF is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that spews out 240 hp and 340 Nm of torque.

Jaguar XF Launch

The Jaguar XF was first introduced to the Philippine automotive market in May 2008. Two variants were released which are the Jaguar XF 2.0 Prestige and the Jaguar XF 2.0 R-Sport.

Jaguar XF Exterior

The Jaguar XF embodies the brand’s design philosophy of elegance and design purity. Its slender body is trimmed with strong lines that radiate the vehicle’s dynamic character while improving aerodynamics, visibility, stability, or safety. Up front is an assertive-looking honeycomb grille flanked with sharp LED headlights that lead to the muscle lines on the bonnet and over the flowing roofline. On the rear are distinct, F-Type-inspired LED taillamps. Completing the look are 20-inch alloy wheels.

Jaguar XF Interior

Jaguar once again shows their contemporary craftsmanship in the XF’s interior. The cabin has built-in functionality with legroom, headroom, and storage space that is best in its class. Its clean and uncluttered layout complements the driver-oriented cockpit that comes with intuitive and easy-to-reach controls.

The cabin is decked in luxurious, premium materials. A warm charcoal dashboard is accentuated with knurled aluminum and Rosewood veneer that give a rich look to the cabin. Further elevating the interior ambiance is Jaguar’s mood lighting package that illuminates the luxury sedan upon starting. Seats are wrapped in bond gran leather with six-way power adjustability on the first row. Built in comfort, it comes with automatic climate control.

Technology & Safety Features

The Jaguar XF is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has a well-established connectivity program based on Satellite navigation and Bluetooth hands-free system. Now with a faster processor, its navigation system provides more real-time updates and routes. Audio comes out of a 250-watt Jaguar Sound System.

In terms of safety, the XF is furnished with a slew of innovations such as the Intelligent Start/Stop technology that improves fuel consumption and manages CO2 emissions. It also has an Intelligent Safety Package that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Brake Assist, Adaptive Front Lighting, Blind Spot Monitoring, Dynamic Stability Control, Anti-lock Brake System with Dynamic Stability, and Front and Rear Parking Sensors. Adding to the sedan’s convenience are a push start button and keyless entry features.

Platform & Chassis

The 4-door, 5-seater luxury sedan rides on the Lightweight Aluminium Architecture with its near 50:50 weight distribution. The suspension comes in the form of Aluminum double-front wishbone suspension and Integral link rear suspension. An added feature is Jaguar’s Adaptive Dynamics which adjusts the suspension automatically while on the road for optimum performance.

Engine & Drivetrain

Under the hood of the Jaguar XF is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 240 hp and 340 Nm of torque. It sends power exclusively to the rear wheels through an 8-speed Automatic transmission gearbox.
