The Haima V70 is the Chinese carmaker’s first compact multi-purpose vehicle meant to rival popular models in the market today such as the Toyota Avanza, Toyota Innova, Honda Mobilio, and the Mitsubishi Expander. It flaunts a mighty and elongated body detailed with subtle lines, refined curves, and contemporary features specifically designed for modern-day driving. Inside, six to seven riders will enjoy its spacious cabin fitted with modern amenities that guarantee their comfort and safety. In the Philippines, the Haima V70 is available in only one variant.

Initially, this reliable multi-purpose vehicle was named the Haima VB100 during its development. In its official launch at the 2016 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, the company released it as the Haima V70. In other parts of the world, it is called the Haima F7 as part of the Chinese automaker’s Family product line.
Locally, Haima Philippines introduced the Haima V70 at a grand launch in SM City Clark Event Center, Pampanga on January 20, 2020. Haima Automobile International general manager William Dong together with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Laus Group of Companies Lisset Laus-Velasco headed the celebration as it also marks the 10th anniversary of Haima Philippines.
The Haima V70 measures 4,750mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,685mm tall with a 2,800mm wheelbase. The Chinese automaker successfully merged sophistication and a vibe of sportiness in this well-built MPV. Highlights include the striking chrome grille that seems to flow down the front bonnet, a pair of wide headlights, front fog lights encased in the lower bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, a sunroof for a premium touch, a durable luggage rack, a concealed antenna, a clamshell-shaped tailgate, and broad tail lights.
Supporting this outstanding multi-purpose vehicle is a set of 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Haima V70 offers a spacious cabin that can comfortably fit six to seven fully grown adults depending on the variant. The black-brown interior exudes a premium appeal everyone will adore. Notable features include the instrument cluster with backlight, a trip computer, a four-spoke steering wheel, four to six-way manual adjustable seats, an automatic air conditioning system with dust and pollen filter, power windows, a manual rearview mirror with an anti-dazzle feature, and rear window with defroster.
Proving infotainment inside the Haima V70 is an eight-inch multi-function LCD with Bluetooth, aux, and USB connectivity paired with four speakers.
In terms of safety, the Haima V70 is equipped with a good number of airbags, an ISOFIX system for child seats, an anti-key self-locking function, a collapsible steering column, ABS with EBD, a brake assistant system, electric parking brake system, and more.
The Haima V70 is fitted with an independent McPherson suspension at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear. Its braking power is assisted by discs at the front and rear.
The Haima V70 is a front-wheel-drive MPV. Both variants are powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. It is guaranteed to deliver 156 horsepower with 220 Newton meters of torque.
