The Changan Uni-K is set to wow onlookers with its Vision V design language. Particularly striking is the frameless diamond-shaped grille. It also gets a pair of sharp-looking LED headlamps and LED daytime running lamps.  

Towards its sides, it gets power-folding side mirrors, plastic body cladding, and a set of 21-inch wheels. Up top is a sunroof. Further enhancing its looks is a set of hidden door handles.  

The rear of the Uni-K then features quad-tip exhausts and a hands-free power tailgate.

Inside the Uni-K is a comfy interior filled with soft-touch surfaces. Its seats are clad in leather, and the front seats in particular get power adjustability and ventilation. Cooling its occupants is a dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system.  

Present for the driver of the Uni-K is a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a push-to-start button.

Present on the Uni-K is a number of high-tech safety features. These include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear-cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, among others.  

On top of those is a set of six airbags, and it also gets the usual safety gear that you’d expect from a modern crossover. 

Handling the entertainment needs of the Uni-K's occupants is a 12.-3 inch touchscreen headunit with Android MirrorLink and Bluetooth. It is linked to a 12-piece speaker set, and it is capable of handling voice commands. Also available on this model is a wireless smartphone charging pad. The driver is then provided with a 10.25-inch display.

The Changan Uni-K is a midsize, five-seater crossover. For its front, it uses a MacPherson strut suspension. Its rear then gets a torsion beam suspension. Handling braking for this crossover are disc brakes for all four wheels, as well as an electronic parking brake. 

Propelling the Uni-K is a 2.0-liter inline-4 gasoline turbocharged mill that can churn out up to 229 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. It then uses an eight-speed automatic shift-by-wire gearbox. Optimizing traction for this model is a switchable four-wheel drivetrain.  

The 2023 Changan Uni-K has six available colors locally. There’s Black, Blue, Dark Gray, Putty Gray, Sky Blue, and White.  

The 2023 Changan Uni-K, when it comes to tech, is up to par with the current midsize crossover market leaders. It also has an eye-catching design that will help set it apart from its competitors. For that matter, it is also on the upper end of when it comes to making power. The only thing that might hold it back as a midsize model is its lack of a third row.
