JMC Philippines: Price list & Hottest Promos in November 2024

The 2024 JMC Grand Avenue is a double-cab midsize pickup truck. In the Philippine market, it has six variants. There's the Grand Avenue 4x2 MT priced at Php 1,221,000, the Grand Avenue 4x4 MT priced at Php 1,364,000, the Grand Avenue 4x2 AT priced at Php 1,426,000, the Grand Avenue 4x4 AT priced at Php 1,569,000, the Grand Avenue 4x4 AT Limited is priced at Php 1,620,000 and the Grand Avenue 4x4 AT Sport costs Php 1,800,000.

Size-wise, the Grand Avenue is 5,450mm long, 1,935mm wide, and 1,872mm in height. Its wheelbase then spans 3,270mm. 

The engine of this JMC pickup truck model is a 2.3-liter turbodiesel four-banger capable of putting out up to 175 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque for the automatic trims. The manual trims meanwhile, can put out 175 hp and 400 Nm of torque. 

For transmissions, the Grand Avenue may come with a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox or a six-speed manual transmission. Both the MT and AT versions may also come with a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain. 

Locally, the JMC Grand Avenue is looking to compete against the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Isuzu D-Max, Mazda BT-50, Nissan Navara, and Foton Thunder, among others.

JMC Grand Avenue Launch

The 2024 JMC Grand Avenue was launched at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). It enters the Philippine market with four variants with a price ranging from Php 1.221 million to Php 1.569 million. 

JMC Grand Avenue Exterior

On the outside, the Grand Avenue combines an imposing design with plenty of features. Up front, it gets a pair of LED lighting clusters with LED daytime running lamps and LED headlamps. It also has a square-shaped grille and an angular-looking lower bumper with fog lamps. 

From the side, the JMC truck model gets side steps, chunky wheel flares, and a set of 17 or 18-inch alloy wheels. The bed meanwhile, gets an easy-lift tailgate, while the rear comes with a pair of LED taillights and rear fog lamps.

Inside, the JMC Grand Avenue can comfortably fit up to five occupants. All inside are seated on leather-clad seats, and it provides its driver with a push-to-start button, cruise control, an electronic parking brake, a flat-bottom leather steering wheel, and a leather front cabin armrest. 

For cooling its cabin, it gets an automatic climate control system. It likewise features 12-volt sockets for the front and rear cabins, flip-up functionality for the rear seats, and many other amenities. 

Technology & Safety Features

For safety, the Grand Avenue gets what you'd expect from a modern pickup truck. It has dual front airbags, side airbags, anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, stability control, front/rear parking sensors, an engine immobilizer, a car alarm, hill-start assist, speed-sensing door locks, and ISOFIX child seat tethers, among others. 

Providing on-board entertainment for the Grand Avenue is a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system linked to a four-piece speaker system. The said screen provides Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity.

The Grand Avenue is propelled by a 2.3-liter turbodiesel inline-4 engine. For the ones with a six-speed manual gearbox, the engine can output 175 hp and 400 Nm of torque. For the trims with an eight-speed transmission, the engine is tuned to make 175 hp and 450 Nm of torque. 

Both the MT and AT variants of the Grand Avenue may come with a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain. 

JMC Grand Avenue Chassis

The Grand Avenue uses a double-wishbone front suspension for the front and a leaf spring suspension for the rear. Braking power meanwhile, is provided by discs for all four wheels. 

The 2024 JMC Grand Avenue has five color options for the Philippine market. These are Pearl White, Shining Silver, Silver Sand Black, Sandy Brown, and Cosmic Grey. 

On paper, the 2024 JMC Grand Avenue might be on the simpler side of things when it comes to safety tech. Nevertheless, it has an imposing exterior design and the right mechanical bits to make it competitive against its rivals. Plus, it's also on the more affordable side of the spectrum especially when compared to other models within its segment.

The JMC Vigus is a five-seater pickup truck. For the local market, its two variants are the 4x2 MT and the 4x4 MT. These are priced at Php 959,000 and Php 1,160,000 respectively. 

Size-wise, the Vigus is 5,301mm long, 1,905mm wide, and 1,782mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 3,085mm. 

Propelling the Vigus is a 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine that's capable of making 128 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. Managing its power is a five-speed manual gearbox. The Vigus is available with a 4x2 drivetrain or a 4x4 drivetrain. 

Locally, the Vigus competes against the entry-level trims of the Isuzu D-Max, Nissan Navara, and Mitsubishi Triton. It also faces several variants within Toyota's lineup of Hilux fleet vehicles.

JMC Vigus Launch

The JMC Vigus entered the Philippine market in 2024 at the Manila International Auto Show together with its JMC Grand Avenue sibling.

At launch, the Vigus 4x2 MT is priced at Php 998,000, while the Vigus 4x4 MT is priced at Php 1,098,000.

On the outside, the Vigus is a straightforward truck albeit with some macho-looking design touches on its expansive grille. 

Exterior features available on this vehicle include halogen headlamps, front fog lamps, a roll bar, and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels. 

Size-wise, the Vigus is 5,301mm long, 1,905mm wide, and 1,782mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 3,085mm.

The Vigus can comfortably seat up to five occupants. Its cabin is mostly made out of durable plastic materials but it has fabric-clad seats, power windows, and a pollen and PM2.5 filter for its manual air-conditioning system. The front cabin of the Vigus also gets a USB charging port, while the rear features a 12-volt charging outlet.

Handling on-board entertainment for the 2024 Vigus is a Radio and Bluetooth MP5 system linked to four speakers. 

For safety meanwhile, it has dual front airbags, anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, automatic locking, and child locks.

The 2024 JMC Vigus uses a 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine that's good for 129 hp and 315 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Also available on this nameplate is a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain.

The Vigus uses a torsion-beam type front suspension and a leaf-spring rear suspension. Braking is provided by discs for the front and drums for the rear. 

As a no-nonsense truck, the 2024 JMC Vigus ticks the right boxes. Just like its rivals, it gets just enough features and amenities and largely the same range of engine output as well. Then again, it does have an edge in terms of exterior design due to its eye-catching front end.
