The Great Wall Motor (GWM) Haval Jolion is a compact crossover. In the Philippine market, it has four different trims. There’s the Jolion Supreme HEV DHT, Supreme DCT, Max DCT, and the Plus DCT. Prices for these trims range from Php 1,058,000 to Php 1,588,000.
The Haval Jolion is 4,472mm long, 1,841mm wide, and 1,619mm high. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,700mm.
There are two different powertrain options for this crossover model. The top-spec variant uses a 1.5-liter hybrid that can generate up to 186 horsepower and 375 Nm of torque. It then uses a hybrid transmission. The other trims meanwhile, get a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired to a seven-speed gearbox. This mill, in turn, can produce up to 141 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.
Locally, the GWM Haval Jolion competes against the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid, Nissan Kicks, etc.

The GWM Haval Jolion was introduced to the Philippine market in 2023. Together with the Haval H6 and the Cannon pickup truck, they mark Great Wall’s return to the country.
At launch, the Jolion was launched with four different trims. The GWM Haval Jolion 2024 prices then range from Php 1,058,000 to Php 1,588,000.
On the outside, the higher-spec Jolion trims come with several notable features. These include a pair of automatic LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, LED taillights, a panoramic sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, and automatic wipers.
For wheels, the Supreme trims ride on a set of 18-inch alloys, while the Max and Plus come with a smaller set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, up to five occupants can ride the Jolion. All are then kept comfortable by a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Depending on the trim, this crossover model also gets a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a push-to-start button, a digital gauge cluster, leather seats, an automatic anti-glare rear-view mirror, a heads-up display, etc.
On-board entertainment aboard the Jolion is provided by a 12.3-inch touchscreen or a 10.25-inch headunit depending on the variant. The larger screen is linked to a six-piece speaker, while the smaller one gets four speakers. Both come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth.
Higher-spec trims of the Jolion also get a wireless smartphone charger.
For safety, the Supreme variants come standard with six airbags, a driver fatigue monitor, an event data recorder, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic jam assist, etc.
All trims get anti-lock braking, stability control, hill-descent control, hill-start assist, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, rear sensors, etc.
For the front, the Jolion uses a MacPherson strut suspension, while the rear uses a torsion beam-type suspension. Braking for this model is then handled by disc brakes for all four wheels. It also comes standard with an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
