The 2024 Volvo C40 was introduced to the local market in October 2023. As of its introduction, its sole variant is priced at Php 4,190,000.
On the outside, the C40 gets a pair of LED headlamps integrated with T-shaped LED daytime running lamps. It starts out sleek from the front, while its side gets an angled coupe-like profile. The rear is then finished off with curvy taillights.
Exterior features found on the C40 include a set of 19-inch diamond-cut wheels, power-folding side mirrors, a power tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof, among others.
Inside, the C40 gets a straightforward dashboard dominated by a large central touchscreen. Plenty of surfaces are soft to the touch, but its air-conditioning vents, touchscreen surround, and center console get gloss black plastic bits.
Features found inside this EV include a two-zone climate control system, power-adjustable front seats, power-folding rear seat restraints, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and charcoal interior inserts, among others.
Handling safety aboard the C40 is a wide array of active features like automatic braking for the front and rear, rear collision warning, blind spot monitoring, slippery road alert, road sign identification, oncoming lane mitigation, etc.
Standard safety meanwhile is handled by anti-lock braking with electronic brake distribution, ISOFIX child seat anchors, dual front airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, curtain airbags, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, a park assist system, and a 360-degree view camera, among others.

The Volvo C40 is underpinned by the Compact Modular Architecture which it shares with other models that fall under the Geely Auto umbrella.
