In 1957, the Chrysler 300C is the year’s version of the letter series. Only a few units of this high-performance luxury coupe were sold. The Chrysler 300C, was launched in 2004. Many might think that the Chrysler 300C is unfaceliftable, but it didn’t stop the manufacturer from fiddling with this saloon. The facelifted 300C came out in the 2008 edition.
The facelift included a refreshed exterior and cabin improvements. The diesel model in a sporty SRT design is out in the market. All models got a new architectural design with rear light clusters. The saloon is proud of its new boot lid with spoiler and high mounted brake lights.
The Chrysler got redesigned in 2011. The design is considered classical. The design mas minor that one may not notice the changes. In fact, when you place the 2011 Chrysler 300C and the current model next to each other, hardly any difference can be spotted. In essence, they are just mostly the same vehicle. One thing noticeable about the modification is the three colors: Canyon Sunset, Frostbite and Amethyst. The latest Red S Appearance package has an added Black Noise-colored badges with the wing badge getting a red insert. A 20-inch Black Noise-colored wheels are included. For the Red S Appearance package, there are six colors to choose from: Granite Crystal, Canyon Sunset, Velvet Red, Bright White, Gloss Black and Silver Mist.
For the interior of a Chrysler 300C, heated and ventilated leather front seats are available. Paddle shifters are mounted on the steering wheels and an analog clock with a nickel finish. Blacked out interior accents make the Chrysler 300C cabin standout. For the Red S Appearance Package, you can also choose a radar red, leather-trimmed seats. A blue Driver Information Digital Cluster Display showcases real-time data. It also includes audio selection, compass, speed, temperature, trip distance, fuel economy, Speed Control engine performance and system status are also available. Steering wheel is wrapped in leather which also includes Speed and audio controls. Voice Command and Driver Information Digital Cluster Display is also included. Some models use real wood trim. Customization is available on a Chrysler 300C. There are 15 interiors available that can be customized in modern luxury and classic family style.
Technology & Safety Features
For an old model sedan, the infotainment system on a Chrysler 300C is suitable for its model. It is simple enough, though it has been updated over the years. It can still please a modern-day buyer. It has an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface that comes with a Bluetooth compatibility, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Playback is allowed from its six-speaker SM/FM radio, SiriusXM and HD Radio. Smart devices can be charged on its two dual USB ports. It has an auxiliary audio input jack for analog interaction. Chrysler 300Cs platform is the Chrysler LX platform. It comes with 17-inch wheels with wheel covers, four-wheel disc brakes and a four-speed automatic transmission. It consumes 2,736 cc (2.736 L; 167.0 cu in) EER V6 making 190 hp (142 kW). It comes with a standard rear wheel drive and also comes in an all-wheel drive. The 300C model was called LX in 2008 and remains as the codename for the platform.
The chassis of the 300C is a unibody design that weighs 913 lbs. This is the first mass-produced unibody chassis that used hydro formed steel. This is one factor that made this car safe during a collision. The style was done by Chrysler, mainly by Ralph Gilles.
