The Chrysler got redesigned in 2011. The design is considered classical. The design mas minor that one may not notice the changes. Chrysler 300Cs platform is the Chrysler LX platform. It comes with 17-inch wheels with wheel covers, four-wheel disc brakes and a four-speed automatic transmission. It consumes 2,736 cc (2.736 L; 167.0 cu in) EER V6 making 190 hp (142 kW). It comes with a standard rear wheel drive and also comes in an all-wheel drive. The 300C model was called LX in 2008 and remains as the codename for the platform.

The chassis of the 300C is a unibody design that weighs 913 lbs. This is the first mass-produced unibody chassis that used hydro formed steel. This is one factor that made this car safe during a collision. The style was done by Chrysler, mainly by Ralph Gilles.
