Towards the sides, this model still gets black plastic claddings like most crossovers. It does, however, get a sportier two-tone body color paired with a set of 20-inch wheels. Its rear, on the other hand, gets a pair of busy-looking LED taillights, and dual exhaust tips.
Other exterior features available to the 01 include roof rails, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps, and many others.
Inside, the 01 offers a well-arranged cabin with decent space for up to five occupants. For the driver, it provides a digital gauge cluster, power-adjustable seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a push-to-start button. Cooling for its occupants is done via a dual-zone automatic climate control system.
All seats inside the 01 are clad in leather. It likewise features an ample amount of charging ports.
On the center of the 01 PHEV's dashboard is a 12.7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is linked to a ten-piece speaker system, and smartphone charging can be done wirelessly via a pad.
For safety, the 01 PHEV gets a total of six airbags, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, stability control, and a 360-degree-view camera. Those are reinforced by a suite of advanced driver-assist features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, emergency lane keep assist, driver alerts, rear-cross traffic alert, and many others.
Propelling the Lynk & Co 01 PHEV is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. In total, this system can output 260 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. It also has an EV-only mode of 69 kilometers.
For transmissions, this model uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox sending power to its front wheels.
The Lynk & Co 01 is markedly more expensive than many compact crossovers. But among luxury models with a similar size, it is one of the most affordable.
