Geely Philippines is proud to announce that actor and influence Isabelle Daza has joined the family as she took delivery of her brand-new Okavango Urban Plus.
Isabelle Daza is now part of the Geely family
The Geely Okavango is said to be an ideal vehicle for Daza as her growing family can benefit from its seven-seating cabin. Her decision to opt for the cross MPV was driven by its “exceptional features and modern design."
“I am extremely excited to become a part of the Geely family by acquiring my new Okavango Urban Plus,” said Daza.
The Geely Okavango Urban Plus is the model’s top-of-the-line variant. It boasts exclusive features such as ADB (adaptive drive beam) matrix LED headlamps and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument gauge cluster. Daza also gets to enjoy the variant’s rain-sensing and anti-pinch panoramic sunroof.
Exterior-wise, the vehicle comes with 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, an automatic headlamp control, LED daytime running lights, LED front and rear foglights, LED rear combination lamps, and a powered lift gate. Inside, the cabin is installed with PVC leather seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, eight speakers, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, and a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.

Under the hood is a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-three engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, providing Daza a good balance between fuel efficiency and performance. The powertrain produces a combined output of 190 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
“The combination of the mild hybrid technology, along with the attractive aesthetics and ample interior space, fits impeccably well with my busy mom lifestyle. Geely’s dedication to innovation and excellence is truly remarkable,” added Daza.
Geely Philippines is offering the Okavango Urban Plus for Php 1,765,000. For more attainable models, the base Comfort and mid-spec Urban are made available for Php 1,523,000 and Php 1,633,000, respectively.

The Geely Okavango 2023 is the first seven-seater from Geely Philippines for the Philippine market, which also makes it the biggest model in the lineup so far. Its quirky name was taken from the Okavango Delta, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and the 1,000th World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Despite its unibody platform, Geely’s third model for Filipino customers is actually longer and wider than mainstream contenders in the truck-based midsize SUV category, measuring 4,835mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,785mm high. Ground clearance, however, is at a rather low 194mm.
The Geely Okavango’s price Philippines ranges from Php 1,523,000 for the base Comfort variant to Php 1,765,000 for the range-topping Urban Plus. Rivals in its segment include the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Nissan Terra, Isuzu D-Max, and Ford Ranger.
