With nearly 27,000 sales through June, the Toyota Prius Prime has become the best-selling EV in the world.
June could be considered one of the best-ever months for plug-in vehicle sales when more than 100,000 vehicles were delivered for the second time in history. This hit a peak of 38% over the same period last year and more importantly, June also witnessed a 1% market share of plug-in cars being reached for the first time.
