This update for Motolite’s app can make for a stress-free and hassle-free car ownership experience.

Motolite, one of the biggest brands in automotive and motorcycle batteries in the country, has just updated its popular Motolite Res-Q 2.0 smartphone app.

You can now get CTPL insurance via the Motolite Res-Q 2.0 app

The biggest addition to the Res-Q update is that it can now allow for battery trade-ins which alleviates the cost of acquiring brand-new Motolite batteries. The process is easy to do via the Res-Q app, which can also show how much motorists can save if they opt to trade trade-in their old batteries.

Another new service provided by the updated Res-Q app is affordable Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) insurance

This is accredited by the Land Transporation Office (LTO) and it provides more convenience for car owners by superseding the need to physically go to a CTPL insurance provider.

To avail of the Motolite Res-Q 2.0 CTPL service, simply select “Other Service” on the Res-Q app, tap “Vehicle Insurance,” and then fill in the vehicle information form. Once that’s done, tap on “confirm,” then “check out,” and lastly, on “pay now.” After those steps, you can then receive the CTPL insurance policy via the app, as well as through one’s provided email.

The e-warranty services can now be accessed via the updated app

A valid copy of the CTPL insurance policy purchased via the Res-Q app can also be stored in the app for safekeeping. This can be accessed in the “My Vehicles” section, which likewise shows the CTPL’s Certificate of Coverage.

Of note, CTPL is required by the LTO every time one renews a vehicle’s registration. So this new service on the Res-Q might be able to save car owners a lot of time and effort.

Another new feature on the updated Res-Q app now is an E-Warranty registration feature. As per its name, it provides an easier way for Motolite clients to process warranty claims thus making Res-Q a true one-stop-shop app.

Simply register a new battery through the app by typing down its serial code, one’s vehicle information, and other relevant data, and you’re done.

In addition, Res-Q 2.0 can now conveniently keep track of various automotive service shops. With this new feature, you no longer have to struggle by manually looking for the right shop for your needs. This covers air-conditioning services, tire services, automotive body repair, detailing, and car accessories, among others.

With all that said, the new update has provided the Motolite Res-Q app with more functionality. So what are you waiting for? Download the app now and register to enjoy a more convenient and stress-free motoring experience.
