While this is an improvement over the current-generation model, it has several new features that might prove to be significant, especially for those wanting more safety and comfort from their rides.

More specifically, the 2023 Evoltis now comes with the enhanced Subaru EyeSight 4.0. The said system on the updated model now uses three cameras, one of which is a monocular with wide-angle capabilities, while the other two are cutting-edge stereo cameras. With these additions, the EyeSight 4.0 has a better view particularly when approaching junctions.

The new cameras also allow the updated Evoltis to better recognize pedestrians and smaller vehicles traveling at a slow pace like bicycles. This is then paired with its pre-collision braking system, autonomous emergency steering, and lane departure prevention system.

With all those systems working together, the Evoltis facelift for 2023 now has level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) semi-autonomous driving technology. As one would imagine, safety and crash prevention is beefed-up on this new version of Subaru’s seven-seater ride.

Step inside the facelifted Evoltis and one will see that it also received a larger 11.6-inch central screen. This new screen then handles many in-car functions like climate control, various vehicle settings, and entertainment.

Connecting to this headunit is made easy thanks to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Just like the pre-facelift version, the 2023 Evoltis also gets a Harman Kardon 14-piece speaker system.

Likewise added to the new Evoltis’ interior is a facial recognition system that can memorize up to five registered users. Specific settings for each driver are accounted for by this system to provide a more personalized driving experience.

The exterior of the new Subaru Evoltis has also been spruced up. It now sports a new grille design and a revised front bumper. All of its LED lighting fixtures were updated with new designs as well.

The new Evoltis also carries over the same continuously variable transmission (CVT) and symmetrical all-wheel-drive system found on the outgoing model.

If you like what the 2023 Subaru Evoltis offers, note that it comes with a starting price of Php 3,780,000. Also, reservations for this refreshed seven-seater model are now open at official Subaru dealerships.
