Jetour Auto Philippines became CAMPI’s 15th associate member, joining 22 other world-renowned car brands intending to achieve sales growth in the local automotive industry. CAMPI president Atty. Rommel Gutierrez said that he “saw the potential of Jetour Auto Philippines.”

Gutierrez added that JAPI could help CAMPI achieve its goals for 2024 as the organization wants to hit 468,300 vehicles sold, a target that would maintain the momentum of the nine percent growth of the auto industry in 2023.

JAPI managing director Miguelito Jose said that being part of CAMPI will open up new and bigger platforms that are geared towards the car brand’s growth.

"Being a CAMPI member elevates JAPI's standing in an industry that is getting even more competitive. CAMPI is the country's most recognized organization in the automotive industry,” said Jose.

To become part of this illustrious group in an effort to reach an all-time-high industry sales mark of 468,300 units is an opportunity not to be missed," added Jose.

JAPI previously announced that it plans to significantly increase its unit sales this year. It plans to grow its vehicle sales from 1,018 units sold last year to 3,700 units this 2024. One of the initiatives that JAPI will do is to further expand its dealer network this year. The Chinese car brand announced that it aims to increase its showrooms from five to 10 in Metro Manila, and from seven to 14 in the provinces. Recently, it has inaugurated the Jetour EDSA Centris dealership

Other vehicles that JAPI will introduce this year are the following: the Jetour T2 off-road SUV, the Dashing Plug-in Hybrid EV, and a mystery vehicle that JAPI has yet to reveal.

Since Jetour Auto PH is already part of CAMPI, the car brand shared that it will be joining the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), which will be held from October 24 to 28. The biennial PIMS is CAMPI's premier auto show that exhibits its members' products, models, services, and other technologies related to automobiles.
