Hyundai Philippines decided to join in Lazada Philippines’ 9.9 Sale by offering the Tucson for as low as Php 934,000. This promo will run until September 12 only and is under a first-come, first-served basis.
The Hyundai Tucson is a 5-seater subcompact crossover that excels in providing versatility since its production in 2004. Under the hood, it is powered by either a 2.0-liter GL gasoline engine or a 2.0-liter CRDi diesel engine.
Look at that sharp and bold styling
Without the promo, the Hyundai Tucson has a starting price of Php 1,368,000 for the base variant and goes up to Php 1,885,000 for the top-spec diesel variant.
Hyundai Philippines is offering the four Tucson variants in the promo. However, as of this writing, the Hyundai Tucson 2.0 GL 6-speed A/T variant is now out of stock. The reservation is highly limited so interested customers must avail of the promo fast. The reservation paid via Lazada is valid for up to 45 days.
Customers who made reservations will be endorsed to an authorized Hyundai dealer who will facilitate the client’s bank auto loan approval. The corresponding down payment and monthly amortization schemes are subject to availability.
In consideration of the ongoing global health crisis, Hyundai Philippines reassured customers that it follows Hyundai Guidelines for Protection and Safety (GPS). This composes of strict safety guidelines made to prevent the further spreading of the COVID-19.

Of note, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) reserves the right to disqualify any participant found cheating or tampering the Tucson promo.
The reservation fee only costs Php 9.99 – in conjunction with Lazada Philippines’ 9.9 Sale promo. Hyundai Philippines reassured customers that if the loan application is not approved, it will return the reservation fee made through Lazada.

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson is a five-seater compact crossover. Locally, this model has two variants. There’s the GLS+ 2.0 CRDi, and the 2.0 GLS AT. The CRDi model is diesel, while the other one is gasoline. They then have a price of Php 1,840,000 and Php 1,570,000 respectively.
Under the hood, the GLS+ CRDi variant uses a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine that can make up to 183 horsepower and 416 Nm of torque. The GLS meanwhile gets a 2.0-liter gasoline mill that can churn out 153 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque.
For transmissions, the diesel variant uses an eight-speed automatic tranny. The gasoline version meanwhile uses a six-speed automatic tranny. Both variants are front-wheel-drive.
Size-wise, the new Tucson is 4,630mm long, 1,865mm wide, and 1,665mm in height. They also come with a wheelbase length of 2,755mm, and a ground clearance of 181mm.
Locally, the Hyundai Tucson competes against the likes of the Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5, Chery Tiggo 5 Pro, Subaru Forester, Peugeot 3008, among others.
