BMW PH practices social distancing with its new Digital Showroom

Aside from social distancing, BMW PH introduces a limited edition Z4 dubbed as the Z4 M40i Frozen.

As the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases hit more than 18 thousand in the Philippines and above six million worldwide, BMW PH is doing its part in practicing social distancing as it launched its new digital showroom.

SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. (SMC ACDC), the official importer and distributor of BMW in the country, said that its digital showroom is meant to provide interested individuals a convenient and safer approach to learn more about BMW vehicles

It also shows you the BMW dealerships near you in case you want to arrange a private viewing or opt for a home-based test drive. Indeed, all information you need about the brand is right at your fingertips and can be accessed at the comfort of your home.

Aside from the Digital Showroom, SMC ACDC has also introduced three new variants such as the 520i Sport, X3 xDrive20d Business, and a limited-edition trim for the Z4. These are now locally available, according to BMW PH.

BMW 520i Sport

The 520i Sport is one of the three model variants launched by BMW PH this June 2020

The 520i Sport comes with a new exterior design and 19-inch wheels. It is also integrated with Apple CarPlay as standard. Under the hood, the 520i Sport is powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. It is priced at Php 4,290,000.

BMW X3 xDrive20d Business

The X3 xDrive20d Business is one of the three model variants launched by BMW PH this June 2020

Joining the new variants that are now available in the Philippines is the X3 xDrive20d Business. It is also equipped with Apple CarPlay and is powered by a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The BMW X3 xDrive20d Business has a sticker price of Php 3,990,000.

BMW Z4 M40i Frozen Limited Edition

The Z4 M40i Frozen Limited Edition is one of the three model variants launched by BMW PH this June 2020

BMW PH is also offering a limited-edition trim for the BMW Z4 dubbed as the Z4 M40i Frozen. Of note, only five units of the Z4 M40i Frozen Edition will be sold in the Philippines. This limited-edition trim features a Frozen Grey II paintwork from BMW Individual.

The Z4 M40i Frozen Limited Edition is one of the three model variants launched by BMW PH this June 2020

All of the mentioned new BMW model variants come with a five-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first. Speaking of warranty, BMW PH is offering all brand-new vehicles sold starting this June with a five-year or 200,000 km warranty.

This covers all mechanical and electrical components, but does not cover preventive maintenance or wear and tear items. Items and components covered by the warranty are always replaced by Original BMW Parts. BMW’s Five-Year Warranty is also transferrable in the event that the vehicle is sold.

BMW Z4

The BMW Z4 2023 is a 2-door roadster that is available in the Philippines with a price that starts at Php 3,990,000 and goes up to Php 5,890,000. It is offered by BMW Philippines in two variants, namely the Z4 sDrive20i Sport and Z4 M40i. Powering the base sDrive20i Sport variant is a 2,0-liter inline-4 BMW TwinPower Turbo engine capable of generating 197 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the flagship variant comes with a 3.0-liter inline-6 BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that delivers 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Both variants utilize an 8-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic Sport.

Dimensions-wise, the Z4 spans 4,324 mm in length, 1,864 mm in width, and 1,304 mm in height. In the local market, this BMW roadster is competing against the likes of the Toyota Supra, Nissan 370Z, and Porsche 718.
