Noticeably, the new Isuzu SUV now offers better outward visibility and more soft-touch components to improve cabin ambience. The Isuzu MU-X 2018 is surely impressive with its dynamic and aggressive appearance and also satisfies car lover with comfortable seats which remain pleasant even after a long run. Cabin space is always a strong point of almost all Isuzu vehicles and the Isuzu MU-X is not an exception.

Although the Isuzu MU-X is powered by a bit vibrational and noisy engine (which comes as no surprise for a diesel), it is still a great off-roader. Running with a 4-cylinder 3.0L turbo-diesel engine, rear-wheel drive and high-clearance, the MU-X is truly a hero on every terrain, especially on harsh roads with obstacles such as large humps or big rocks.

Concerning the Isuzu Mu-X 2018 price, only the 3.0 LS-A 4x2 AT Blue Power and 3.0 LS-A 4x4 AT Blue Power variants become more expensive in 2018. Correspondingly, the 4x2 AT price augmented by P197,000 while that of the 4x4 recorded a smaller rise of P187,000.

3. About Isuzu

Isuzu Motors Limited

After almost a century since its establishment, Isuzu has become one of the most reputed brands all over the world in supplying the most assured and qualified commercial vehicles.

Back in 1916, Isuzu initially was a shipbuilding company dubbed as the Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd, founded in Tokyo, Japan. Then, it started to walk into the automotive industry through the cooperation with the Tokyo Gas and Electric Industrial Co. In 1918, it set up a partnership with Wolseley Motors Ltd. to take on rights to make and sell its first car, which was named as Wolseley, in East Asia. To gain what it has today, Isuzu has been through decades of ups and downs and merger events including a merger with DAT Automotive Manufacturing Inc. and General Motors in the 30s and the ‘70s respectively.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation

In the Philippines, Isuzu founded its official provider of industrial and commercial vehicles in the 50s. Not until August 7th, 1995 was it officially renamed as Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC).  The IPC carved up the local auto market with the support of a 4-way merger with the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, the Ayala Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation.

Today, IPC is still one of the first names in the list of favorite and trusted brands in the Philippines with outstanding models such as Isuzu MU-X, Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu Crosswind. All of them are powered by a highly innovative direct injection diesel engine technology which has been researched and developed by the brand itself.
