On the whole, the Strada GLS 2WD looks sporty but still owns some classy traits. The sportiness of this new Strada variant is expressed by a new design side step plate, whereas a new dark chrome grille highlights its classiness.

Furthermore, it is the J-Line design that makes the Strada spacious and commodious because it creates more space for the second row seats.

Especially, this variant is also set up a 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio, cruise controls and magnesium alloy paddle shifters.

Mitsubishi Strada 2017 review Philippines: Engine & Performance

The new Mitsubishi Strada is now furnished with the 2.4 liter MIVEC clean diesel engine (with power output of 181PS and 430 Nm) which maximizes power through its variable geometry.

Furthermore, the fuel consumption and emissions can be reduced due to the variable valve timing and lift system.

Commonly, if you want a pick-up with ultimate speed and power or even the eco-friendliness, this new Strada variant is highly appreciated.

Additionally, the new 6-speed manual transmission and 5-Speed INVECS-II automatic transmission with sports mode play an important role in the accomplishment of the new MIVEC clean diesel engine.

While the 6-Speed manual transmission with its high gear ratio and clutch operation takes charge of making the driver control entirely the variant, the 5-speed automatic transmission lets the driver feel extremely easy when handling the vehicle with a flick of the level but still maintains the sportiness of this car.

Mitsubishi Strada 2017 review Philippines: Verdict

Overall, the new Strada GLS 2WD possesses numerous outstanding features of a pick-up car: optimal speed and power, sporty but still classy design as well as the ease of handling.

Therefore, a net price of Php 1,215,000 for M/T and Php 1,295,000 for A/T is reasonable to get hands on this car coming with 3-year/100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
