Tata Motors: A decline of over 9% in global sales in April

Tata Motors revealed that its global wholesales has witnessed a decline of over 9% in April 2017.
Tata Motors on May 10 reported that its global wholesales in April 2017 dipped 9% year-on-year to 73,691 units, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles.
 
The company has sold 81,333 units in April 2016.

Tata Motors in a statement has said that global sales of all passenger vehicles in April 2017 were at 54,847 units as against 51,749 units during the same period in 2016.
 
Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover were 41,923 units in April, higher 2,41 per cent, compared to April 2016 with 40,933 units. However, global wholesales of commercial vehicles has witness a decline of 36% to 18,844 units compared to corresponding month of previous year with 29,584 units.
